Excavation
Adventures are never far away whenever the High Tide gets hired by all kinds of institutions or even private investors to take a closer look. Thus our work includes contracts for excavation and recovery missions that lead us to forgotten ruins, old temples or dark caves, where artefacts, abnormalities and forgotten histories lie hidden, only waiting to be unravelled.
Identification
Our work is not limited to excavations alone, but also includes the identification of artefacts and abnormalities that could pose of academic interest to the public. To keep history alive it must be understood first, thus whenever our archaeological teams and historians find an artefact of academic interest, their purpose and origin will be studied closely before it can join the broad collection of artefacts within the High Tide's own museum, so future generations can learn from the past.
Preservation
Any artefact that our trained mages, historians and archaeologist consider too dangerous to fall into the wrong hands, will be safely contained within the company's Secure Containment Facility, closely guarded by our own internal Security-Team and multiple technological surveillance systems.
Since our focus is also on the protection and education of people, we offer a safe haven for those that are considered a "living abnormality". Individuals that often suffer from strange conditions, dangerous powers or other abnormalities that makes it hard for them to live among normal people within the cities.

It's the High Tide's most important ambition to not only preserve history and knowledge, but also to pass it on to the next generations and those thirsty for knowledge.
All those who are willing to learn from the past in any form, be it stories, magical spells, plain facts, fairy tales or songs, will surely find in our halls teachers and scholars who are willing to share their knowledge.
